Adult Classic Safety Vests The Classic Adult Safety Vest is a high quality vest made to Australian standards (AS/NZS 4602.1:2011 Hi-Viz garment design and the AS/NZS 1906.4:2010 reflective standards). It is however only the orange and yellow coloured vests that meets the colour requirements of the standard which means these vests need to worn around hazardous construction environments. Yellow and orange vests get overdone and for most situations and environments are not necessary. Unless it is written into your H&S policy another coloured vest is a smart way for distinguishing different roles and people. eg eg Fire Wardens wear red, Visitors wear Pink, Security wears Black and the gorgeous wear Purple. Your company, school or church can do exactly the same.

Vests are loose fitting so exact sizing is not critical. Measurements are taken across the front (armpit to armpit):

If you are unsure of your sizing go up a size. Its much better having a safety vest that is a little baggy than a tight one.
